In-Situ Treatment Options
AST applies in-situ remediation technologies to degrade and/or immobilize chlorinated solvent impacts without excavation.
In-Situ Remediation with site-specific reagents to promote rapid contaminant breakdown including:
- Overburden Injection to target dissolved-phase chlorinated solvents in unconsolidated soils
- Bedrock Injection to address impacts in fractured bedrock formations
- GeoTAP™ (Pre-Drill Methodology) for in-situ treatment of contamination in lithology that is difficult to access using direct push technology alone
- Permeable Reactive Barriers (PRBs) installed to prevent contaminant migration and protect downgradient receptors
