FOR MORE THAN THREE DECADES, AST HAS COMPLETED THE DECONTAMINATION AND DEMOLITION OF STRUCTURES, PROCESS EQUIPMENT, AND TANKS AS A PART OF A CHALLENGING AND COMPLICATED REMEDIAL ACTIONS.

AST’s portfolio of decontamination and demolition projects include: 

  • Chemical and pharmacological cataloging, laboratory packing, and disposal
  • Specialty chemical manufacturing facilities
  • Metal plating facilities 
  • Custom manufacturing facilities
  • Underground and aboveground storage tank installations (USTs and ASTs) and associated piping
  • Industrial waste water treatment facilities, reactors, and stripper columns 

From activities related to these projects, AST has built an inventory of specialty demolition and decontamination equipment including pipe jetters, high pressure steam cleaners, plasma torches, handheld and equipment mounted shears, equipment thumbs, hoists, and safety gear.
